How to connect JMPY to ChatGPT

Connect JMPY as a custom Connected App / Plugin using OpenAI's Apps SDK and MCP.

Enable Developer Mode

Open ChatGPT on the web. Go to Settings > Connected Apps (or Plugins) and toggle on Developer Mode. This enables testing local and custom integrations.

Register JMPY as a Connector

Select Connect a Developer App (or Add MCP Server) and input the JMPY SSE endpoint:

Choose Authentication

Under Authentication, select either OAuth or Client Identifier Metadata Document (CIMD).

Connect and Test

Click the Connect button in the top right. JMPY's secure authentication flow will launch. Log into your dashboard and click Allow access.
